A review on conductive polymers and their hybrids for flexible and wearable thermoelectric applications

There is a growing demand for flexible and wearable next-generation electronic devices that must be capable of bending stretching under mechanical deformation. In this regard, energy harvesting technologies have immensely invested in organic polymeric semiconducting materials due to their large-area synthesis, low cost, toxicity, high flexibility, tunable properties. For example, electrically conductive ?-conjugated polymers been investigated various thermoelectric producing stretchable, wearable, light-weight can harvest from temperature gradient produce electricity with no pollution or moving parts. review we initially provide general overview the principles polymer characteristics, followed by recent progress application devices. We also evaluate new advances manufacturing hybrids other polymers, inorganic materials, carbon nanostructures, applications body smart cooling.
